This is "the story of my recent life..." - Mitch Albom

"It makes more sense than 'the story of my life' because we get so many lives between birth and death," Albom writes, "A life to be a child. A life to come of age. A life to wander, to settle, to fall in love, to parent, to test our promise, to realize our mortality- and in some lucky cases, to do something after that realization."

Your life isn't defined by a job. Your age is more than just a number. And your past doesn't determine your future. Rather, this life is ever-changing. Nothing is permanent. Everything is a continual experience.

All of these "lives" that Albom alludes to are experiences that can be retold, both verbally and visually.
